Privacy

What we collect

Customer org name, billing details, officer names + emails, and a usage log of every lookup performed (address/APN, timestamp, requesting officer). We do not knowingly collect personal information about consumers — title plants index public records about real property, not individuals.

Public records

Patten searches public records on Customer's behalf. These records (county clerk deeds, state UCC filings, judgment liens) are not personal data in the GDPR/CCPA sense when accessed for legitimate title insurance purposes.

How we use it

(a) deliver the Services, (b) bill Customer, (c) aggregate anonymized usage for product improvement. We do not sell Customer data to third parties.

Subprocessors

Supabase (database + storage, US-West), Vercel (hosting, US-East), Stripe (billing), Resend (transactional email), Anthropic + OpenAI (LLM for deed OCR + extraction).

Retention

Lookup history retained for 7 years (Texas title insurance recordkeeping standard). Customer account data retained for the duration of the relationship plus 90 days after termination.

Customer access + deletion

Email feild@pattenlabs.com to request a copy of all data we hold on you, or to request deletion (subject to legal retention requirements).
